These Cape Verde property inspection trip mini-packages are designed to suit the busy property investor. Choice of single or double accommodation. The Hotel Belorizonte has WIFI internet access, on-site car rental, currency exchange and proximity to both the beach, and properties in Santa Maria and Sal. All you need do is arrive at Sal, and you will be met at the airport and taken to the hotel. What you do from then on, is your own decision. Transfer time approx 15 minutes.

The hotel makes a good base for Cape Verde property viewing. You will be in a good position to wander round on foot, see developments and spend time with the people that you want to spend time with. We recommend the superior rooms, but bungalows are available too, set in the grounds nearer to the beach.

If you can take the time, combine property viewing with a few hours or days on the beach, seeing whether you enjoy being on holiday in the place you are considering investing in. See what you like, when you like and with whom you would like. We would recommend that you go on as long a trip as you possibly can as time just flies by in Sal and even simple things can take just so long.

Rooms

233 rooms in bungalows near the beach or superior rooms in the main building. Bungalows are either twin or double, with sleeping space for two children. Satellite TV, air conditioning, mini bar, safe and shower room. Small balcony. Superior rooms (see photo above) in the main building are either double or twin, with satellite TV, air conditioning, mini bar, safe and bathroom with bath. All superior rooms have small balcony with seaview or views over swimming pool. The hotel charges locally for use of the safes.

Dining

Belorizonte restaurant (breakfast and dinner), Grill Salinas restaurant (lunch and dinner). Atrium bar (late), Tropical bar (daytime), Fun bar (late) and Beach bar (daytime) which also serves snacks and grills. There is a choice of full board or bed and breakfast. Lunch is served as a buffet.

Comments

The Belorizonte is right next door to the Novorizonte (owned by the same group, but on an all-inclusive basis) and they share the tennis court and swimming pools. The hotel is modern and functional, in a good position along the huge sandy beach, with its own beach restaurant and beach area with sunloungers. We have recommended the superior rooms as guests tend to prefer them to the bungalows, and as you are paying so much for the flight for a short stay, why skimp on the hotel accommodation? If you get back to the hotel late after viewing Sal properties all day, you don't have to leave the grounds. For those travelling alone, you don't have to wander around on your own at night if you prefer not to. There are bars and restaurants on site, and there is an outdoor massage area too. Or, if you want to go out and about in Santa Maria, the Belorizonte hotel is well positioned for bars, shops, banks and restaurants. For the business convention or conference organiser, there are a range of conference facilities, with the main auditorium catering for 200 theatre style. There are booths for simultaneous interpreting, and a separate entrance and bar/coffee area with balcony. This is the hotel that was chosen for the launch of Tecnicil's Vila Verde development.
